What does The Family Learning App do?
The Family Learning App enriches the quality of the home learning environment by sending daily, play-based activities that can be easily incorporated into family life.
As families make use of the app, our special algorithm responds to their evaluations and tailors the curriculum to best meet the needs of their child. The result is a fully individualised learning journey.
The Family Learning App pushes all of this valuable information to schools via ‘The Family Learning App’ school site, helping schools to evaluate progress and identify specific areas for future work.

Is this more screen-time?
No! Although we are called an ‘app’ a better description would be a digital nudge.
Behaviour science research suggests that behaviour change is most effective when the least number of choices are required to enact the new behaviour. With this in mind ‘The Family Learning App’ uses digital devices to provide a daily nudge towards the behaviours that we know lead to positive outcomes for children.
Typically, our users are on ‘The Family Learning App’ for less than 2 minutes before putting their device away and engaging in quality adult/child interaction.
"I like that the app does not require me or my child to use a screen but rather the tasks can be completed during every day life and conversation."
